CDMA vs GSM

So here's a question if anyone's tried it. Now that my Verizon SIM is unlocked and it was verified that a US SIM will work, would I get better battery life if I use the phone with a new SIM on the GSM only network? Not sure how the Hybrid phones work internally.

You might have better life but verizon does not function on gsm unless outside of US on there sim card. So you would be using your phone on a AT&t or T-mobile account.
