Re: GSM/SIM Question
No, it doesn't appear to be able to work in tandem. You pick CDMA or GSM or Global (which picks either one...)
Additionally, the American versions of these phones prevent picking up US GSM carriers. Not sure if this will be fixed/hacked in the future... but as of now the GSM for sprint atleast doesn't appear to work for AT&T/T-Mobile. I'm not sure whether or not the Verizon one has been locked out or not. I have the Telus version and once unlocked it works great. |

Re: GSM/SIM Question
I have a Verizon TP2 and with my foreign SIM card it'll register just fine on US GSM networks and I can make/receive calls on AT&T & TMobile in the US.

The key is probably that you are using a foreign SIM not an AT&T SIM. The foreign SIM is roaming on the AT&T network. |

Re: GSM/SIM Question
I have a VZW TP2 and it works fine with my US T-mobile SIM. This has been beaten to death, please search. Telus and VZW TP2s unlock the same way. Telus won't provide the Unlock code, but Verizon provides one for free every 10 months and as long as you've been a customer for 60 days. Sprint doesn't need an unlock code, but won't register on US towers.
