How to delete multiple text messages?

Ok I deleted every text message I had. Now there's 800 text messages in the deleted folder, is there a way to delete all of them at once? I can't sit here deleting each message manually.

While in text messages inbox: MENU>>TOOLS>>CLEAR TEXT MESSAGES = delete all the text messages store in the inbox, MENU>>TOOLS>>EMPTY DELETED ITEMS = empty all the deleted items. Hope that helps.
