Touch Pro2 program memory leak???

It looks like My phone may have a possible program memory leak. I have been noticing the program memory usage on my TP2 going up steadily as the days go on. My device starts out at about 58% memory used, and by the end of the day it's at 80%! has any one else seen this? what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Re: Touch Pro2 program memory leak???

Wow, I thought seeing 67% was high! I haven't seen my phone get that high yet. I would do a hard reset and then install the programs you have on now one by one to see if you can narrow down what it is.

Re: Touch Pro2 program memory leak???

Same issue here - processes begin taking over through the day. While I close apps things seem to get sucked up even if I run a clean RAM app. I can't find anything in process manager / taskmanager. Any one have a diagnostic tool of some sort that does a good job of this?

I'm experiencing the same thing... although it doesn't seem to affect stability or performance.

On a soft reset it aint gonna be that low, not 39%. When you soft reset you got to let everything load, if you check it right away it will be that low but after a few seconds it goes up to around 56% or so.

Edit: Now I see you have a tmobile tp2 so maybe its different but for the most part with my sprint tp2 once the operating system settles in after a soft reset its around 56%

Re: Touch Pro2 program memory leak???

Indeed... about 55-60% just to startup. I'm running at about 75% right now, and I just soft reset about 15-20 minutes ago.

I have done about 2 dozen hard resets today, so I know that doesn't affect it, and so far I have next-to-nothing installed (besides my own tweaks that I'm working on).

Re: Touch Pro2 program memory leak???

tmobile tp2 doesn't have push internet... so opera doesn't stay alive... 10mb ram is free. im on sprint and i disabled push completely and now it starts at 37% or something around there... screw opera push internet... 1hr update isnt enough for me, i like checking for the update at the moment, not 45 min ago...
