Advise please: Can't get into ##786# on Silence_012 ROM

I was going to post this under the Silence_012 thread, but I wasn't sure if it would be okay to bump old threads just for one question. In any case, hopefully there's someone out there that's still using this rom.

I love this rom and recently installed it on a friend's TP2. He was trying to go into the menu accessed by ##786# to check out lifetime data, minutes usage but he couldn't. I rarely go into that menu myself, but I discovered that I couldn't do it on my phone as well. Does anyone know if the creator of it locked it out? Or does it just not exist on this particular rom? It works fine otherwise.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It works on Sprint Lover's 2.5, so it must be your ROM

I know, I've used other roms like Mr. X or Lead's roms and ##786# works too, but it's just this particular one doesn't.

Its been awhile but I think you should be able to launch it manually by running epst.exe in the \windows\ directory.

Thanks very much, I had forgotten what it was called. At first the EPST in my \windows\ couldn't open (something about needing a program associated in order to open it with), so I googled EPST, and found someone who had this same thing happen. They did ##778 > send & got the EPST displayed.
