transparent soft keys

Hi all,

I have tried hdwalls, editing classic....png files directly, Max TF3D Theme Maker v3.1 but have yet to find a proper solution.

I just want the soft key bar transparent!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: transparent soft keys

do you have windows 6.5 or 6.1? You have to have 6.5 for it to work.

Re: transparent soft keys

hmm thats wierd cause i use hd walls and it works great. maybe u need to change your settings on hd walls. theres actually a setting that allows transparent soft keys if you set them before you make the ccab. have you tried that?

Re: transparent soft keys

thx for the reply machek. Ill give it another try : )
If anyone knows a way to do it without hdwalls please let me know.

The reason being I set my wallpapers at 1333x800 so that I have basically the same pic in both portrait and landscape mode.

Re: transparent soft keys

Yeah iv tried 800x800 and it also works well : )

however i find the issue with CHT and HDwalls* is that they dont skin properly in landscape mode.. they take the portrait skins.

Iv heard of replacing the ...softkeybar.png with a transparent image instead but havent gotten it to work.

*actually I cant even get HDwall to work it seems to require sense (another reason i dont like using CHT) which I dont like to use, when i install the cab I create and restart it reverts to HTC sense with the default wallpaper.

Im using Jackos rom atm.
