Re: Asurion offered omnia 2, xv6850, or ozone for TP2
It looks like a personal decision, I just wanted to say that you can sync your device using other means besides the USB cable. The easy one would be bluetooth to your laptop/desktop or just set up Google push email and sync your contacts, calendar, and email there.
Another options may involve getting the screen fixed privately (search craigslist if you're not too handy, but it's pretty easy to do on your own). Best of luck. |

I was once offered an HTC Touch for my TP2 after making it clear that I was in need of a Windows Mobile device with a keyboard.

wow thats pretty messed up if they're offering you a tp1.i mean.. "Verizon to Launch HTC Touch Pro as XV6850 on November 24th" and that was back in 2008. How can they call this an upgrade?

Re: Asurion offered omnia 2, xv6850, or ozone for TP2
Just a update, they offered me a LG Fathom today and I took it as it seems the best they can do.
I am paying $89 for it and will just sell it on eBay for a few dollars profit. I just bought a Droid off Craigslist and I guess thats the way im going for now unless windows mobile 7 really impresses me in a year when my contract is up. |

VZW son nada mas de un par de desgraciados, descarados, engañadores, malcagados! doesnt make sense that theyd stop offering the TP2 when it was just released a year ago, sprint is still selling it malditos sean! id file a complaint with the BBB because u paid ur money for a powerful device yet theyre offering u less powerful ones and then trying to make u pay for it.

Re: Asurion offered omnia 2, xv6850, or ozone for TP2
Asurion most certainly has TP2's. I am with Sprint and a little after Thanksgiving they had to send me 2 - TP2's to replace one that ended up in a body of unsanitary water. First one had a really flaky usb port and its replacement had a non-functioning microphone. I took it to my local Spring repair center and they fixed it for me, no charge.
Good luck. |
