Anyone gotten Fireslaves new V2 WP7 UI to work?

I've been trying to install the newest WP7 UI from fireslave on my Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I just cant seem to get it to work. It will load up fine but if i try to press on any hub i just get a blank black screen with only the signal and battery bar at the top showing up and no button works or swipe to go back or anything. I have to end up using the hardware start button to open up throttle config and close throttle launcher. Has anyone been able to get it to work? if so on what ROM? I've tried both Bare Naked 6.1 and Medium Hill Titanium only 6.5 and both have the same issue.

Nope, I had the same exact experience but was assumed it was because I was on 6.5.x. The demo on Pocketnow was on a Sprint TP2, so it must work.

Exactly, I was thinking the same thing but no matter what I try it just doesn't seem to work.

well the 3 people in the Thread in Themes Section got it working... and a Bunch in the XDA Thread as well...

any reason you started a new thread on this and didnt just ask in the Thread about it?

I did of course ask in the thread about the issue, but I thought I'd ask in the TP2 forum to see specifically what a Sprint TP2 owner that got it working did differently instead of having people with all kinds of different devices respond, its just easier to narrow down the problem this way and the difference between my setup and someone else with the same exact phone.

I got it to work last night on 6.5.x sharkie rom and nrgz titanium rom too on sprint. Runs smooth. Seems to settle in over time. Settings at 4.3/FPS and 10/fps. Did notice sometimes patience is key. when I first installed I was like the bull in the china closet. Some things are faster loading than others.

Im getting black screens when tapping the people, music, games tiles.

guys having trouble with the black screen... i read somewhere that the issue was resolved by copying the segoe font to a folder.

Installation instructions:

- Download and install ThrottleLauncher v1.2.1.
- Download the Windows Phone 7 2.0 theme here, extract the “Windows Phone 7_2” folder and copy it to the “Files/ThrottleLauncher/Setups” directory on your device.
- Copy the font "Segoe UI Light" (Inside WindowsPhone7_2 folder) and copy it to "/Windows/Fonts/"
- Run ThrottleConfig and select the WP7 theme.
- Run ThrottleLauncher and enjoy!

I got it to work and it was great till i switched back over to sense and found all contacts, dialer, and speed dials were "broke"
