No service in orange county, ca? Anyone?

Hi, I woke up this morning to find that my phone is dead. Battery ran out. So, I plug in the charger and turned it back on. Then I see I have no service. Is service out in the orange county, ca area? Is this why my battery is drained because it was searching for service all night? I had 60% battery before I went to bed.

Can't tell you any info regarding the outage, but that is why your phone went dead. It was searching for service. That happens to me when I'm in certain buildings.

Re: No service in orange county, ca? Anyone?

Okay. Now I know for sure why my phone is dead. It's been raining over here so there could be a signal problem and it was searching for signal all night.

Now, I'm expecting an important text message. If my phone was dead (off), will the text message go through after I turn on the phone again (recharging)?

You will get the text message as soon as you get back service.

Re: No service in orange county, ca? Anyone?

Okay, so I decided to call myself from another phone. Well, I called the wrong number and got someone else to pick up. So, I double check what my number was and called again. Once I did that, I got service again. Weird. No text though so I guess there wasn't a text sent.

i always plug my phone in at night, that way i dont wake up to a low or dead battery, especially since my battery is going bad anyway.
