Streaming radio through bluetooth?

I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2. I stream alot of radio in my car from Pandora and shoutcast (from Kinomaplay). I have a crappy setup right now using a Belkin FM transmitter. I'm about to buy a new car stereo and the new one I want supports bluetooth audio streaming. Can my Touch Pro 2 do this?

yes, the tp2 has the a2dp sgereo bt profile and should be able to stream to just about any device. I used to pair mine to a jabra cruiser and stream audio. I would use the cruiser's fm transmitter and listen to that audio stream through the car speakers, really nice. this is a basic function of most devices that have a2dp, so your good to go. with the cruiser my calls also played through my speakers, or I could have calls go to my bt headset while the stereo audio went to the cruiser (dual pairing)...also nice.

I also do this with all of my work vehicles car stereos that have built in bt a2dp...so you should be good either way.

Re: Streaming radio through bluetooth?

eww bt fm transmitters outta put out some crappy sound possibly no different than his original setup. integrated bt is better that way the sound is full digital. but yea u can stream music from the tp2 to that and it also will work with pandora tho id recommend slacker radio as the sound quality and station selection and UI is better. i also suggest that u do the linespeed hack for the bt as well to be able to get the best sound quality
