Backing off relying so much on this thing

Don't get me wrong, it's a grand tool, but for what I want the screen is just too small. Yea, great, remote desktop, but so hard to use because of the size.

I've never bought a laptop because the damn things are so large. And for Onenote and Office, it's not worth it. I run a lot of meetings where I don't like having a laptop between me and those I'm communicating with. Tappity tap tap keyboards aren't appropriate for a lot of the environments I'm in.

So I ordered an HP Slate 500. Yea yea, it's not an iPad, but an iPad won't work for me.

Yea yea, HP messed up marketing and produciton and I won't be getting it until next year...but with the pen and touch screen it's what I need. And I sketch al lot when in meetings.

Hoepfully it won't prove to be a dog

Why the wrong forum, it's about lessening the burden on my TP2. Yes, the Slate has Win 7 Pro

Re: Backing off relying so much on this thing

well lets see, they make netbooks.. 10" screens, same as ipad but full computer functionality.. Sprint is giving away the Dell Mini 10 for free less $100 mail in rebate, right now..

I use remote desktop through Android and the PhoneMyPC app... its awesome...

"tappity tap tap" on keyboards isnt approrate, but sketching is??? lmao!

so this thread is about you having to wait until next year to solve your issues??? about getting a HP Slate??? is there trouble shooting or something your asking for with your TP2????

i dont see the point other than you mentioning you dont like remote desktop for TP2...

are you asking for something here?

Re: Backing off relying so much on this thing

Looks like I'll be seeing this in the off topic section. You can't put a phone and a laptop head to head... The TP2 would obviously win. LOL.

Jeez, you people have some real social skillz issues. I didn't dis the TP2, I didn't try and compare it to the 500.

And this...

Do you have clue one what I do for a living? Obviously not, and you react with arrogant judgement? As though you know better than I about what I want or need in the environments I work in? Good lord
