Question Any issues pairing with a Zumo GPS?

hey guys,

I think I'm gonna pick myself up a Zumo 660 for the bike, and before I drop major coin on it I want to see if there are any known issues?
I know our BT can be a bit finicky, but I've never had any trouble myself with the few devices that I've paired to.

Re: Any issues pairing with a Zumo GPS?

I used my TP2 with a Zumo 660 and it worked fine. Check out the Zumo forum for more info: http://www.zumoforums.com/index.php?action=forum

Re: Any issues pairing with a Zumo GPS?

Jim if you're still watching (or anybody else), does the zumo load your address book?

My wife's nuvi will load her phones address book. Sometimes not immediately after it connects, but I just unpacked the zumo and turned it on tonight. I paired it without trouble, but noticed that it didn't load the address book from my phone. Left both on for about 5 minutes on the end table, still no address book. Then the battery was low & I shut it off.
Gonna tear the tupperware off the bike this weekend and install...

Re: Any issues pairing with a Zumo GPS?

Now that I think about it, I was using a TP1 when I had the Zumo, sorry. Sometimes it would take a couple tries/reboots, but it did work. I think the TP2 should work better.

You really should check out and join the Zumo forum. There are a lot of WM phone users there that know all the ins and outs. They even get into regular and Bluetooth headsets that work with the Zumo and the phone and how to hook it all up.
