Can you change Opera's settings from the desktop?

Changing the configuration of Opera for WM is a PITA. Can you change the settings from the desktop? For example, edit the ini file from the desktop and copy it to the handset?

whats wrong with typing opera:config in the search bar... thats how i edit opera

Too inconvenient. Too much information on too small a screen. You usually have to do a lot of scrolling to reach "User Preference", which is where most editing occurs.
