Keyboard swap?

I have a VZW TP2, using it on AT&T. I'm tired of not having 3G, so I'm looking at the Tilt2. Problem is, I hate the keyboard. Could I put a VZW, Sprint, or T-mo keyboard in the Tilt2?

Re: Keyboard swap?

You could but the device layout would stay the same as the Tilt2. It would be easier to use a Verizon keyboard layout cab on the Tilt2 if you are already familiar with the VZW keyboard.

The keyboard layout is a device map, so if you use a different device-map setting you get a different keyboard layout. Only issue is that the keys will no longer match what the physical layout is. Which is a non-issue if you have the Verizon keyboard layout memorized other wise you may want to take a picture of the Verizon keyboard and use it as a refrence from time to time while using the Verizon keyboard map on a Tilt2.

Hope that helps.

Re: Keyboard swap?

So, could I do both? Put in a different keyboard, then use the matching device map, or even remap the keys using something like RhodiumKbdControl?
