MemoryUp Pro - Free App Friday

Thank's for the reminder for it, just so people know this App is Java based and you need to have Java installed to run it.

You don't have to put your credit card info in. I also put in my first initial, half of my last name, and a really messed up address.

You do get a registration code, so I'm hoping the Owner name didn't get used to produce it.

I got it, but it's a Java app. It doesn't seem logical to take up more memory by installing a 2.7 MB Esmertec Java CAB for an app that's supposed to save and clean up memory. Seems like at best it might restore the memory that Java uses.

+1 on that lol ..I tried it and once I added the Java App to run it I lost memory. On Plutoniums latest No Cookie Rom even with Cookie Mod installed I routinely keep 60-70MB free but afer this app I droped down to 45 lol lol so needless to say I went into SKTools and uninstalled it real quick lol lol. I did it via SKTools so I could be sure the registry would be cleaned up as well. So it is all gone now after rebooting and running SKToools free up ram shortcut I am back up to 70MB free, sweet.

SKTools is one of the best utilities to have, it will uninstall anything even when win mobile does not show it in the remove programs, tt does that and so much more. I just run Free Up Ram from my quick link shortcut when it looks like the phone is getting slow and always works flawlessly

But anyway that was my experience with Memory Up, I will pass on it lol lol. Even a free application is not worth lost memory...

I actually uninstalled it too. I didn't realize it was Java till Wesley pointed it out. Was hoping it was a better app.

Most of these "Apps" on "Free App Fridays" are what I call "Flea Market Apps"..lol.
