Sprint TP2 Registry Settings Reverting?

I keep disabling the stupid FlightMode sound effect using the "EnableSound" registry key and it randomly reverts back to being enabled.

(Setting the key to 0 disables the sound effect, and this will last anywhere from a week to many months. Recently I had gone for 4 months with that stupid sound effect being disabled until today when it started again and sure enough the value was back to 1.)

I've tried deleting the PhoneOn and PhoneOff sound effect from Windows directory using TotalCommand and I've tried overwriting it with a silent sound file... and even those revert back.

I've not flashed the phone or installed anything else recently. Somehow Sprint or HTC has something running that is reverting these settings and files back. VERY annoying! Is there a service or something that I can disable?

cmguardian does that. thered a reg edit to kill it. or search for shaggylives cmkiller cab. i think its talked about in the TP 2 tweaks section

I have killed it. It was the first thing I did on this phone. Is there a different CMKiller for TP2 than for TP?

Is there something else that brings it back?

Edit: I just ran the ShaggyLive_CM_Killer.cab again...it said it was already installed and asked if I wanted to reinstall, so I said yes and have reinstalled it. I'll look to see if there is an updated / better version out there.

I am now using the CMProxyKiller instead of just the CM Killer. Hopefully that will do the trick.

If you tell me where in the registry this function is I can make you a cab to easily change it when it does happen.

Thank you very much for the offer. I can make a .reg file that I can import easily and it wouldn't be too much more work to create a cab out of that either... I was more wanting to stop the reverting from happening because I didn't know what other registry tweaks I've lost until I go back through them all again.
