Issues with copying mp3 files

I have two different issues when trying to copy mp3 files from my desktop pc to my TP2.

First, I always get a message that pops up saying that I can copy the files, but my device might not be able to play them. I used to have the Verizon XV6800 and I never had this issue. Anybody know why this prompt now comes up, and how to get rid of it?

Also, every once in a while, I get a file or two that just flat out refuses to copy. Again, I have no idea why. The files play just fine on the desktop.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Issues with copying mp3 files

How are you coping them over to the phone? are you just dragging them to the SD card or are you using software to transfer them over?

Re: Issues with copying mp3 files

if you just copy/paste and you paid for some of those songs, then the DMR/DRM(which ever), the license in short, wont transfer over with it unless you sync the music on.. this could be one of the problems

Just using explorer. Is there a better way? I don't have a card reader...

I personally ripped most of these myself. DRM should not be an issue... to my knowledge...
