How to select several attachments at once for email?

Anyone know if there is a way to select multiple
files to be attachments in an email using the tp's
resident outlook program?

I have 5 x pop3 accounts set up on this phone
and none of the accounts seem to offer the menu option
to do anything other than select a single file at a
time.

Why is there, apparently, only the arduous one-at-a-time
"insert-file" menu setting?

Is there a tweak (preferably a cab) to
circumvent default settings and let me select
several files at once?

Pretty bloody rudimentary, even my treo 650 could do this. I don't expect windows 7 to be much better, unfortunately.

You could just zip them all together and send that one zip file?

Re: How to select several attachments at once for email?

Thanks for the tip but I've tried doing that and it is not a very efficient work around for the issue.

Yes, I would zip but why should I need to spend 10 minutes zipping one file when the WM software SHOULD handily do something that took only a few seconds on PALM smartphone technology and software in 2004?

...and zipping would require that the person to whom I send the file have a way of unzipping the files on the other end - not always the case when you send files to another mobile or someone unfamiliar with zipfiles (yes, they exist).

I'm surprised there's not a tweak for this irksome software issue...
