Volume set automatically with headphones in?

Just flashed MightyRom 6.5/2.5. With my previous Verizon 6.5/2.1, the phone would set volume automatically when I plugged my headphones in, and would mute automatically when they were unplugged. The phone isn't doing this with the new ROM installed. Is there a setting/regedit that I'm missing somewhere?

I'm having the same issue. The previous version of MightyRom had that feature and now it's missing. Anyone know how to get it back?

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

Interesting development. Seems music player will now STOP if you pull out headphones. Im wondering if HTC did this purposefully (instead of it switching between various speaker volumes) with the latest Manilla....

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

set volume automatically?? i dont get it for some reason.. i mean when i plug my headphones in, whether usb or 3.5 jack on my TP2, the headphone volume is whatever the phones settings were currently on.. if its on silent, its still silent till i change it..

also i just went through all my media players on both my TP1s and my TP2, thats WMP, coreplayer, s2p, and the Music Tab, using both usb and 3.5 headphones and everyone of them paused the player when i unplugged them-thats not really anything new

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

With the same Touch Pro 2, with the Verizon standard Windows 6.5 ROM with Sense 2.1, it had a "memory" (for lack of a better term) as to what volume settings were the last time a jack was plugged into the 3.5mm jack, and the last time there was nothing plugged in there. So if you typically liked to leave your phone on vibrate or silent, but also would use it as music device, just plugging or unplugging your headphones would switch between a sound on and sound off choice.

With the latest MightyRom, it doesn't do this anymore.

Maybe a minor quibble. But I was wondering if there was a way to change it.

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

I was using Manilla 2.1 when this feature worked but you said you had it working in a rom with 2.5, so it can't be manilla doing this. Besides, I remember not always having this feature, it just kind of showed up one day, so it must be some additional application or edit. What about Nitrogen Music Player? Did you have that installed when it was doing this? Anyone know of a regedit that would do this?

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

There has to be a registry edit that can enable this...

Re: Volume set automatically with headphones in?

Doesn't have to be a registry edit. Could be a new DLL or something else.
