Sweet! Didn't know it could be done. I've had both the TP and now the TP2 and never accidentally hit a key when I opened the KB - so I never knew about this.

I looked through the manual and couldn't find a mention of it.

off topic- i miss abbreviated dialing.. where i just had to pput in last four digits and press talk and it would dial

You can also just find a contact by just spelling out the name with the key pad. For example lets say your looking for a contact named; Alex,

HIT hard phone button;
start dialing out Alex= 2539;

Alex appears or any one else named alex or with a similar name. Works for me every time no need to pull out key board, for those who have an issue with that.

I found both of these tips when I got my phone a month ago playing with tilt keyboard. Never thought much about it thou.
