Cannot hang up call with Infiniti bluetooth

My phone pairs fine with my 09 Infiniti G37 bluetooth and the calls are clear; but when it comes time to hang-up by pressing hang-up on the navigation display screen, nothing happens; the call stays connected until the other party hangs up.

Has anyone experienced this issue with any late Infiniti model equipped with the bluetooth hands-free option?

It's been like that with many headsets. I have a Jawbone and it does the exact same thing. Guess we won't know 'til someone figures it out. I need to call HTC.

Re: Cannot hang up call with Infiniti bluetooth

I have the same issue with a BMW. I keep pressing it till it disconnects, but it could just be that the other party is disconnected.

Re: Cannot hang up call with Infiniti bluetooth

Same issue here with a Motorola H710 BT headset. It's a well known problem right now and appears to have something to do with the BT stack (widcomm) that HTC went with ont he TP2...compared to the MS stach they use on the TP1 for instance. Hopefully once cooked ROMs come out this can be resolved.

Re: Cannot hang up call with Infiniti bluetooth

I had a similar issue with my old Q9c and found the following solution for it online:

THE Q/INFINITI HACK:
1. Install a local Registry Editor
http://blogs.conchango.com/stuartpreston/files/regeditSTG.zip
2. Enable RAPI and user provided certificates so a registry editor will work
  1. Navigate to HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies\
  2. Click "Values" soft-key
  3. Change "00001001" value to 1 (decimal) (recovery note: default is 2)
  4. Change "00001005" value to 40 (decimal) (recovery note: default is 16)
  5. Reboot device.
3. [OPTIONAL] Install Mobile Registry Editor on the PC to do the rest of the hack
http://www.breaksoft.com/Blog/Utilities/2005/1/Mobile_Registry_Editor.aspx
4. Modify the HandsFree plug-in:
HKLM\Software\WIDCOMM\Plugin\HandsFree
i. Change SupportedFeatures to 45 (default is 1135)
ii. Add value HFBDA binary, set to same value as LastConnectedBda
iii. Add value HFDeviceType decimal 2
5. Modify the WIDCOMM bluetooth general settings:
HKLM\Software\WIDCOMM\BtConfig\General
i. Change bdaddr to (no value)
ii. Change DisableReopenAudio to 0 (default is 1)
6. Reboot device

Not sure if this will work for the TP2; any volunteers?

Re: Cannot hang up call with Infiniti bluetooth

I'll give $50 to whoever can manage to get the MS stack working on our phones first. This widcomm stack is crap.

The widcomm stack is the Broadcom stack. Guess who makes the windows stack?
