Battery Draining Super Fast

I've had this happen often after flashing a new Energy rom, energy defaults the screen brightness to max and that will kill the battery while its charging. I've also noticed that the phone seems to draw more power when you're charging and its set to active sync, I find the battery charges better and faster when the TP2 is set to hard drive mode.

One last thing is turn off all the auto updates for things like weather and stocks, etc. I've seen my phone try to update the weather for a good 20 minutes if I'm in an area with bad reception, it just keeps trying and trying all that data connection time has to be a drain on the battery.

Here's a list of some things you can do to improve battery life. I use #3 through #7 and it has almost doubled my battery performance. You might have a bigger problem then the normal battery drain, but can't hurt to try before looking at a warranty replacement.
