Unlock location of Home Tab on Sense 2.5 Slider

Does anyone know of registry edits or .cabs that will allow the Home Tab on the Sense 2.5 slider to be moved? I want to rearrange it so that this tab can appear in the center rather than on the left hand side of the slider.

In your registry, navigate to HKLM/software/htc/manilla/configuration. Home tab is set to 0. If you prefer your home tab to be the third tab rather than the first you will need to rename the 0 slot(home tab) to 2. Then rename whatever tab you want to be in the first tab to 0. So now 0 will be the first tab, 1 will be your second tab, and 2 will be your home tab, and so on. You may still rearrange your other tabs in settings as usual. So whatever you rename to slot 0 will be set to the first tab.
After changing these registry settings you will need to disable sense, then re-enable sense again for the changes to show.

One question... after this change will the end hardware button and all the links that should default you to home still work correctly? Or will it send you to whatever you set position 0 to be?

The links will default to whatever you make 0. I would need to dig a bit more to find those entries.

Hmm... I tried this tweak by renaming the folder for HOME 0 as 13, and the folder for SETTINGS 13 as 0. This freed up home so that I can move it around the Settings/personalize menu, (though still not like all the other Tabs, but you can drop other tabs on either side of Home to rearrange it.) Unfortunately the END button and Rebooting sends you back to whatever was assigned to the left most slider position, not HOME.

Any ideas on fixing this or other ways to implement this mod?

Those reg edits will only allow you to move your home tab to another tab, which is what you asked to do in post 1. Now whatever you set to 0 is still going to be the mapped home key. Now if you want to re-assign the end key to the actual home tab I think you may need a program like a keyboard config app. I will look deeper into the registry....

Thanks! I don't really want to install a whole program to just remap a single button, so any ideas for making the reg edit are greatly appreciated!
