Re: Touch Pro 2 Bluetooth Compatibility with 2010 Toyota Camry
I'm currently having the same problem with a 2011 Subaru and the TP2.
Subaru says its compatible, stock and mightyroms have been unsucessful on the media player side and the phone side. My wife's Samsub Intensity works flawlessly.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Bluetooth Compatibility with 2010 Toyota Camry
The original Touch Pro likely used the Microsoft BT Stack, where the TP2 is using Widcomm (or similar name) for bluetooth, and from what I've seen and read since the release of the TP2, it's been nothing but problems for people trying to use it, especially in cars and with newer BT headsets.

Re: Touch Pro 2 Bluetooth Compatibility with 2010 Toyota Camry
i am still working on my mercedes but here what i cam across try it may work for some, let me know if it works out for you guys
Here are the steps to get it to work: 1. On phone, Open bluetooth 2. Choose left tab (settings) 3. Click on Advanced and choose Audio 4. Check the box "Play system sounds on remote handsfree device" 5. Click Done 6. Go to right tab (tools) and click on Networking Manager 7. Choose Create a Private Network and click continue 8. If the car is not listed, go to Menu, Show all devices (also enable the bluetooth in the car and say Add Phone) 9. Once the car shows up, choose it and it should give you the option to input the 1234 code...then you will be paired... Hope this helps... |
