Re: email: noting in the sent folder

You may already know this, but make sure you go to menu>Tools> Manage Folders... and set "Sent Items" to Sync. But default it only sync's the inbox. Also make sure it's "Sent Items" not "Sent Messages".

Re: email: noting in the sent folder

where are you guys talking about doing this? in active sync or directly on the phone? i dont have any emails in any inbox subfolders or in my sent items. the only 'check box' i have on my phone in my email sync options is 'sync email'. am i looking in the wrong place? i have a hotmail acct, on WinMo 6.5 (Verizon).

Re: email: noting in the sent folder

I think it should be the same, are you accessing the menu from the inbox?

When I go into my inbox & hit menu (with no emails selected) my options are:

new
send/receive
follow up >
go to >

If I'm on the TF3D mail icon & hit menu my options are:
new mail
accounts >
send/receive

if i go to accounts, my options are:
new acct
accounts...

if I click on accounts, it then lists my hotmail & SMS acct. with my hotmail acct highlighted i select menu & the only option i have is "options". then it brings me to that box where it again lists:
sms/mms
hotmail
(it has the security & signatures buttons under this box)
If I select my hotmail acct i get 7 options (today screen options, sync options, sync schedule, sync status, roaming, email, about). If i go into sync options the only check boxes I have are contacts & 'sync e-mail'.

I have never seen a tools/options menu.

It took me a bit to follow, as well. On my Sprint TP2:

-From Inbox display for my Google account, I chose Menu on bottom right
-Tools
-Manage Folders
-Placed a check mark next to sent
-Clicked OK on top right
-Executed Send/Receive and all of my sent items came up.

I actually like this better than 6.1 which put my sent messages in my inbox leading me to, on occasion, reply to myself!

Maybe it's a Sprint thing then, because I dont have those options. Or maybe it's a hotmail acct thing.

Definitely a Sprint thing. I don't have those options either.
