Question Trying to create custom folder shortcuts on 6.5 home screen

I was hoping someone could help me with trying to organize my device.

Recently after upgrading to 6.5, I tried to create a few custom folders to hold all my apps rather than making most of them spill into quick launch slots on the home screen. In 6.1 this could be done by editing the registry of:

HLKM\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\

and changing one of the spaces (as an example):

DispName: "All Games"
Path:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games\

This didn't work for folders on 6.5, and I realized folders are launched in the honeycomb rather than the list down view like in 6.1.

So any suggestions how it may be possible to put folders on the home screen launcher?
Thanks.
