Voicemail on Today screen for Sprint 6.5?

Is there a setting on the new stock ROM to get voicemail notifications on the today screen, like they were on 6.1?

Just downloaded and tried the Home page modifier utility tool from Amrketplace, no likey! Changes the home screen into a list.

Any fix that retains the stock look of 6.5?

I also like the new home screen using HTC Sense in the Sprint 6.5 ROM. I have checked "display message on screen" in the sounds & notifications section of settings and that didn't do it.

How can you have a voicemail alert appear on the screen with 6.5 using the Sprint HTC home screen like it used to with 6.1?

Been wondering the same thing. I would love how it would pop up and say how many missed calls and voicemails. Now, just the Calendar which is useless for me. If they also had a call history, that would be great too.

uhh how do you figure? download the 1.6.1 cab and install. all that other stuff is for tweaking. you dont need to do it.

ya that is understandable but seriously, you dont need to read any of it. i just downloaded 1.6.1 and installed and now im happy. i only wanted it for the "voicemail" and extra quicklinks. give it a shot!

Ya, I recall seeing a "Missed call/Voicemail" on Home Tab cab a while back but I dont know if it was updated for most recent Sense 2.5.x builds.

I miss having the Missed Call/Voicemail slot show up right on the Home tab. In the new stock rom, all you get is an icon at the top taskbar you have to click on. Anyone have the standalone cab that adds the "dynamic" (i.e. only shows when you have a missed call) call history for the latest SenseUI build?

Cookie's sense mod is awesome but I'm afraid it bogs down the poor lil TP2 a bit. It designed for the beefier HD2.
