MightyRom and Bluetooth PAN

So I just upgraded my TP2 last night to the latest Mightyrom release. After doing so, I no longer have the option for ICS Bluetooth PAN. I have searched all morning and cannot find an answer to fix this.

Can someone please point me to a thread with directions on how to get this working again.

I have been using Bluetooth PAN on my TP2 for months and for years before that on my Mogul phone. I need this to work. I travel around alot and have to have an internet connection wherever I go.

USB tethering is a pain because the cable. WiFi would be ok, except I heard it drains the battery faster as well as the advertising a WiFi hotspot wherever I go.

Please help.
Thank you.

Re: MightyRom and Bluetooth PAN

Well, after using wifi ics for most of today, I definitely want to go back to using BT pan. Battery use seems to be about 4 times greater using wifi. The connection is also not nearly as stable or fast, at least for me anyway. When I was using Bluetooth PAN, the connection was always rock solid and I was able to leave it on all day at work without any issues.

Could somebody please tell me how to get it working again or point me to a rom that this will work with?

Thank you.

Re: MightyRom and Bluetooth PAN

I am looking to solve the same problem. I do not want to go back to the stock rom.. but loss of this feature may be a deal breaker for me. Also the included wifi hotspot software in mightyrom is a bit glitchy.. the signal will not show up on all PC's. it seems some wireless recievers cannot see it even if manually added. bummer. How can we get our bluetooth pan back?

Not sure if that's what you looking for.... I think mighty ROM might not have included all those settings. I just tried to tether with BT just now and it works for me. I am using mighty ROM.

unfortunately my BT tethering experience is not as stable as usb or wifi. The phone BT DUN crashed about about 20 MB of data or about after 15 min of BT tethering everytime. So right now I tether with usb and wifi. Would be nice to have another stable tether option

I never really tether with the phone not connected to a power source. Figure the power drain is just too much. It definitely unlikely to last anywhere near the talk time (4 hrs?). how long can you tether with BT and phone on battery only?

Re: MightyRom and Bluetooth PAN

Thanks Wildpig. But that didn't work out to well. *sigh. I've flashed back to the stock rom. This issue plus the problems with MMS have done me in. Too bad because I love the speed of Mightyrom.
