nice ND...clicked the button for putting these cabs together. im not using them myself YET...but cabs will come in handy in the future.

You are not the first to ask. It is not a service. I remember seeing something to do this over at XDA.

Cab For Disabling Music Album Art Update Does Not Work. It Still Does It After The Cab Install And Soft Reset.

The cab I posted disables the MS update service that runs at all times and is leveraged by media player. If this is what you are talking about then restart and I am positive you will find it not working any longer.

If you are playing music in Manilla or another app, they would not be stopped from updating media when you disable the service. You would however still get some memory back.

Modified the Push Internet Engine cab to include all the various ways HTC has implimented this in different versions 1.1

how about a cab that can disable internet if idle for a certain amount of time. we don't have a cab that actually works 100%. i've seen strra's cab which disables the internet after 60 sec idle but it will cause problems with slide to answer and answering phone calls. also it doesn't always disconnect after 60secs...

Don't know enough about the data controler. Post the cab here and I will explore.

Will you test for me if I come up with a concept?
