Re: Cabs to disable unused services - Updated {2010-03-09}

The cab I posted disables the MS update service that runs at all times and is leveraged by media player. If this is what you are talking about then restart and I am positive you will find it not working any longer.

If you are playing music in Manilla or another app, they would not be stopped from updating media when you disable the service. You would however still get some memory back.
