Multiple callers and placing calls on HOLD - HOLD button gone -TP2 WM 6.5 VZW

Hi all,

TP2 on VZW upgraded to WM 6.5. (with minimal cab file changes/tweaks). I looked and searched and did not see anything so let me set up my situation:

1. I'm on the phone one of 2 ways: an individual phone call or I have called into a conference call (call to meeting).
2. While on the phone another call comes in. I try to answer it and things look OK (says first call or party on hold). BUT I can not talk to or hear the second caller. I do not see any buttons to switch back to the original call. I thought I could hit the "END CALL" button to switch back to the original call but that just ends all calls.

I don't want to have the second caller join the conference call (or 3 way call) but I want to talk to them, end the 2nd call and resume my original call. (other scenario would be to pick up the second call, put them on hold and return to the original call; end the original call and resume talking to second caller). Seems like it should be simple enough but I can not do it (or find out why I can't)

So my questions are: How do I get to talk to the second caller? How do I get to talk to the second caller independent of the first? Do multiple phone calls result in a 3 way or conference call automatically?

Where did my "HOLD" key go? Looking through faqs, posts, and guides it says there should be a "HOLD" key (under user info and above speaker key while on a call). Mine says "FLASH". Is this a vzw, wm 6.5 upgrade or possibly an installed tweak (remove 1 hour and minute flip back on clock, personalizer, etc) issue?
