Windows 7 and Bluetooth File Transfer

I recently upgraded by Dell Inspiron E1505 from Windows XP to Windows 7 Ultimate. While on XP I was able to right-click and send any file to my phone via Bluetooth. However, I find that I am unable to do this on Windows 7 now even though I can connect to Activesync and Networking through bluetooth. Anybody got any ideas on what's going on? I have a Dell Truemobile 355 Bluetooth + EDR Thanks!

Re: Windows 7 and Bluetooth File Transfer

I've had some interesting issues with BT and Windows 7. It works on one of my laptops, but not a different one configured similarly. Not sure why it's goofy, but I can confirm I've had issues.

Same here. Two similar computers, SAME BT stack. One will Send via bluetooth one won't.

Oh, and here's a quirk. BT send object to the device will not work if the screen is not on.

Thanks for the replies guys. Still trying to get the bluetooth to behave like I want. I'll just keep toying with it.
