Black screen of death!?

Lately my TP2 has been having strokes. I holster my phone and a while later ill hit the power button to turn the screen back on I get nothing! The bottom buttons light and the keyboard lights up but no response to anything on the screen just a light up BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH!! Any thoughts or facts on this issue anyone?

lol .. theres a thread bout that floating around .. same thing happened to me & the sprint tech looked frazzled when he seen the problem first hand .. he messed around & thought he fixed it but then realized there is no fix & gave me brand new phone .... look im no expert at these phones but alot of ppl ASSume its one app or setting causing it .... but im betting its a TP2 problem that is going to be as common as the faulty keyboards on TP1 ... a hard reset & running phone bawlz stock with no extras at all & i still had the problem ... sooooooooooo .. back up ur ish & when it happens hit the sprint store lol

If it's a TP2 issue, why are HD2, Imagio, Xperia, Omnia and other WinMo phones experiencing the same thing?

ROM issue. Somthing in power management, running processes, somthing...

Get a replacement. Load/run the same programs, flash the same ROM. It'll pop up again eventually.

Granted, this is just my OPINION based on my experiences with this issue.

I encourage you to search around here, XDA, or other power user sites and come to your own conclusions.

search i do, actually unlike others i try a search before even starting a thread. but when i keep on finding different threads about an issue that every1 is guessing is this or that, i just throw my opinion out there. dont get me wrong alot of those who expressed their beliefs probably had reason. but nothing i tried from reading worked at all & again i search the forum, just relating to my phone which is a tp2 ... i wouldnt have any idea about them other phones because i dont care about them nor do i have time to waste reading about them .. i experienced this issue after a hard reset before even tweaking anything. im not saying your wrong as i hope maybe u will be one of the ppl who find a fix if 1 exists. but theres no need 2 get slick
