repeating characters

ok i searched & found nothing except a thread started by someone else in which i also was looking for an answer .. when using physical keyboard sometimes a character may be shown as entered on screen either 2 or 3 times .... it happens way to frequently & i dont believe im double pressing as fast as i type .. anyone know possibly why ? also dumb question maybe but even in the user manual i was unable to find my answer .. in settings>buttons>up/down control .. is this what may control that ? thanks 2 anyone who gives me any help .. stock rom, 6.1 sprint

Wirelessly posted (TP2 Biznitch: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50301; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

Sounds like the infamous broken keyboard from the tp1. Bring it in and get it fixed or replaced. Its a issue with the keyboard ribbon not being fully seated.

Re: repeating characters

There is some registry hack to set how fast the characters repeat. Maybe you need to adjust that to just a tad bit slower.

Sorry, I don't remember what exactly the registry key is, I just remember making that adjustment on my old AT&T Tilt just about every time I flashed a ROM.
