Music Player HElp

Most of the time while in the truck or at work I use my A/V cables and play music or use the gps with the music in the back ground. My problem is the screen is always on, if I turn it off it turns off the music player. Does anyone know of a program or way around that? BTW I am using the stock music player

I use Pocket Tunes right now and it doesn't pause the music when i turn off my screen. I think Slide 2 Play (S2P) is the same, but when i was using it i found it very confusing.

either download GS player which has display off control and is multifunctional as a player or use the player you have but install PS Shutxp which has timer, display off, and few other functions at the toggle on of a long press of the power button. It should work for you
