How Do You Switch To Your Other Line When Another Call Comes?

I had this issue on my touch pro 1, and now with the tp2 if your on a phone call and another call comes in on your other line how do you click over, and then when that call is over go back to the line you started on originally?

like when i have a call coming in i can slide to answer to put the first call on hold and answer the new incoming call, my problem is clicking back to the first call how do you do it? the touch send button doesnt seem to work is there anything else i can do to click back over to the original call?

Re: How Do You Switch To Your Other Line When Another Call Comes?

Mine ends the call i'm on and seems to end the other one too, but then the one on hold calls my phone back about 2-3 seconds later and then I answer it.

I think land lines do this too. If you are on a call, switch over, then hang up on the 2nd caller, then your phone rings a couple seconds later and when you answer, you are on the original call.

yes this is true, if you have two calls in your phone and want to end call 2 or call 1 and u press end key to end either one, it will hang up both. i think u have to press talk button again sort of like flash on landline phones. nOt sure tho.

All i do is hit the hardware talk button and it switches back over to the original call.

Re: How Do You Switch To Your Other Line When Another Call Comes?

That is correct and normal behavior. When you hang up on call 2, call 1 also temporarily gets disconnected and is re-presented to you as a new call. It's just how it works. If you don't like that say good bye and quickly swap back to the call you want to keep active. When the caller hangs up it will take care of itself.

Edit: Actually I assumed that would work, and it sort of does. The problem is it doesn't SHOW that the caller who disconnected actually hung up, so it appears like they're on hold, and if you swap over to them you hear a dial-tone, and then it gets screwed up and you cant swap back without going back and forth a couple times.

Re: How Do You Switch To Your Other Line When Another Call Comes?

It seems to make a difference if I switch over BEFORE my 2nd caller hangs up, of if they hand up faster than I can switch, then I have problems too.
