Roaming error

My phone won't roam. I've flashed back to stock and updated my PRL. I've tried manually updating my PRL, yet I can't roam. I just get the "Verizon Wireless cannot authenticate your phone" error..anyone have any thoughts?

well if your sprint and its saying verizon. I would say to activate you need better signal. then roam should work. but for activation i believe you need sprint signal.go fo a ride to better coverage.

Thanks for the reply. Let me explain a little better. I get Sprint signal fine at home. When I go into my "man cave" I've always forced roam for better signal. Force roaming has always worked fine, until today. My Sprint signal works fine. When I switch to "roaming only" I get the signal, but when I try to make a call I get the message from Verizon. Data does not work either.

ok, here's how to fix this roaming problem if you shall ever get it.

Call Sprint Advanced Tech Support @ 877-809-6696 and ask them to reload your HLR.

If the tech doesn't know what that means, tell him/her to ask. It exists. Problem solved.
