WMWifirouter and Opera

I'm using WMWifirouter on a Touch Pro 2 on Sprint and have connection problems after using WMWifirouter. The problem I'm having is I will start and use WMWifirouter without any problems, but after I shut down WMWifirouter and try to access the web on the phone with Opera, I get a network error message. The odd thing is I can start Internet Explorer and it will access the web on the phone. The only way to get Opera working again without the error message is a soft reset of the phone.

Any ideas why Opera will not access the web on the phone after WMWifirouter has been used?

Thanks

I tried a profile update after using WMWifirouter with Opera not working afterward, and Opera would still get a "Network Error" page. I can restart WMWifirouter to tether or use Internet Explorer on the phone and both will access the web. In order to get Opera to access the web requires the phone to be powered down and restarted.

Thanks for trying to help!

Re: WMWifirouter and Opera

i have had the same problem, opera doesn't work, neither does the rss feed updates app, etc. skyfire works no problem.
had to do a hard reset after soft reset didn't fix it.
I've had to do this 3 times. makes the program not worth using in my opinion.

Re: WMWifirouter and Opera

FWIW, I'm on Verizon, and experience this sometimes, but not all the time. I contacted WMWiFiRouter support, and this is what they said:

Quote:
We are unsure what the problem is here. Less than a handful of other users have reported the same problem, it is still under investigation - unfortunately so far we have not been able to replicate the issue.
I think there is an update to this software (ver 1.6) - I haven't updated, since I don't use it that often, and a soft reset always gets things working for me if it occurs, but perhaps this might fix it for you.
