E-Mail Notification?! PLease HELP!

hey guys. so im on mightys latest rom. and i have a problem. see i get alot of emails here and there so i have my hotmail set to check mail every 15 or 30 min. but only problem is when i do get a EMAIL, the light blinks but NO SOUND OR VIBRATION!!!
this is really annyoning! i goto sounds settings and email is clearly set to play and vib!
text and every other notofication works fine but only email!
i really need this to be fixed because i would like to know when i recieve email. i came from a blackberry and it used to do this flawlessly!
any help would be great!

Hotmail and alerts doesn't seem to work properly with WM, I've had this problem since WM 5 and haven't found a fix. Sorry for the bad news.

oh man! thats not good!
hope they find a fix. now from time to time i get SYNC FAILED!

what is going on. im starting to not like this phone because email is important.
