best instant messaging solution for TP2

Im using palringo but it makes my battery drain fast. is there any other good solution for instant messaging with low battery consumption? or other client like beejive and oz will have the same result?

honestly, palringo seems to be the best way to go. IM support on WM blows monkeys. i dislike palringo (especially with the newer versions making you pay for features that were free) but for battery and functionality, it's the only way to go for now. if beejive would release their source (since it's "permanent beta") that'd be the best thing ever.
