Can I flash and sync on LINUX? UBUNTU???

I'm considering changing my computer to Ubuntu cause I'm having a lot of problems on vista.

Can I sync and flash while on Ubuntu? or does this only work on Microsoft products?

you can sinc music pics and videos but not roms in case that you want to change to linux you have to know how to flash in SD mode not with .exe ruu of winodws stuff im using right now ubuntu 9.10. Usb modem with my TP2 works beautyfull and its just plug and play on linux
