How to disable notification during a call?

Hi everyone. So, I hate it when I'm in the middle of a conversation, and I'll get a call or a text or whatever, and my phone starts going crazy making noises, even if I hit "mute ring," and basically disrupts the converstaion until after I get the missed call notification, the voicemail notification, etc. Basically, I'm looking for a way to disable the notification sounds while I'm in a call. Is there any way to do that? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Re: How to disable notification during a call?

I asked the same thing and never heard anything. Hopefully I just missed it. For now I just turn notifications off when I get a call or before I make one.

Re: How to disable notification during a call?

Did anyone figure this out? I find it extremely annoying that my cheek hits the notification bar every time I am on a call... I want to disable that bar during calls...

Re: How to disable notification during a call?

yeah i posted an answer that worked for me..i changed the ringer type for the incallbuzz value in the registry.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=41178

HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/InCallBuzz

I changed the Sound value from Notify.wma to Default.wma
So now it just beeps 3 times when a text comes in while on a call.

you could probably delete it and you wont get an audible notification during a call.

Re: How to disable notification during a call?

Not too worried about the sound... I'm more annoyed that my cheek hits the notification bar at the top and pops up while I'm speaking... when I need the keypad, I have to close the notification screen first.
