Cool Mogul in the daylight? Increasing Backlight

I have the Mogul - used to have an i930, The Mogul is so dim in the day is there a way to increase the backlight for day use. I have searched. I have tweaked and I was wondering if anyone has a tip. Help Please.

do you mean is there a way to use the light sensor to change the backlight? Because as of yet, there is not... (at least that i have yet to find)

If you litteraly mean change the backlight, go to:
Start (Menu in the upper left of your screen) : Settings : System (Tab At Bottom) : Backlight

There are a few apps that let you have quick launch backlight keys:
Try this -
Go to: Start : Settings : Today : Items (Tab At Bottom) : Check the HTCHomePlug : Click OK... When you return to your today screen there will be an icon near the bottom that you can click and it will take you right into the backlight settings (This may be done by default on your phone)

Hope that helps...

Use the light sensor to change the backlight yes that is what I think I mean,

I do have the HTC Home installed, I can brighten or lower the backlight;

It is at max!! I have to go inside a building to see my keypad and or the screen, I do termite work, work outside and would like to use it outside more.

Thanks keep the tips rolling in there must be a way!

you can try a Antiglare screen protector that should help u see the screen and map the backlight to a hard button to turn up the back light when needed

It does, actually. I mapped the text messaging and IE keys to backlight up and backlight down -- A double-press on either button will increase or decrease the backlighting one step.

The one reason I am consiridering a- a- a Palm next time-i can use it outside because of the different screen techonolgy. I install wireless on rooftops and the 6700 is useless in sunlight-I heard the 6800 has an active matrix screen instead of the TFT on mine now; must not be thue then.
