Angry WM6.5 New Configuration and Issues

I just flashed to Build 23049 and am noticing issues with the new menu bar and displays within various software. What I'm seeing is in a few packages, the width of the menu bar causes the software menu bar to cover a portion of the secondary tool bar or a part of the status screen. Has anyone else noticed this and, if so, how are you dealing with it?

I switched to the HTC theme, it seemed to help a little.
However, since I jumped from DCD v.4.1.2 to mattsm 6.5 23049, I am looking to flash to a clean 21501 build and see if the official 6.5 is better supported by apps.
I considered using neuNoBar to see if that helps. Switching to 6.1 style Home does nothing. I have no doubt there is a way to make the bottom bar smaller, I just haven't looked into it yet.

(Why the Windows Mobile team has not added a defaulting auto-hide task bar like Win32 has had since at least Win95(?) is beyond my since of logic.)
TP2 Saturday! So relieved..

p.s. BigRedGonzo we're in the same town! Awesome!

Is 21501 actually the Microsoft final release? I thought it was like an RC-1 type release.

Sorry Coz, It occurred to me that I may should have posted this in the Titan Forum after I posted it in the Upgrades forum. I'll try to be more diligent about posting in the correct spot in the future.
