Reg Edit for flight mode

Does anyone know how to disable flight mode in the reg. I am tired of accidentally going into flight mode my hitting the end key for too long...

:P

Thanks

Whoa, I had no idea that worked! Thanks for the tip-off. Unfortunately, no, I don't know any way to turn that function off.

That's the way I always shut off the phone part when I used my i730. You have to hold it quite a few seconds, and it does alert you. I never thought of turning my phone off as "flight mode", but ultimately it's the same thing

I don't know, but I have learned something. I learn something new about this Mogul every day.

I didnt know this either. Did holding the end key down for a few seconds do the same thing on the 6700?

Yes, this feature has been around since the 6600. I too would like to get rid of it, happens to me a lot.. I put my 6800 in its leather case, slip it into my pocket, work, move around etc and hours later I go to check my phone to see that somehow the circumstances were perfect in my pocket to hold down the end button long enough, while inside the case to do it.. so yep, it does indeed happen.

Go to the registry and change the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> ControlPanel -> PhoneExtendFunction -> CDMA

Change FlightModeSwitchByPnHEndKey to 0
