Digit Dial for the Mogul

Has anyone tried the software available for the Mogul that would let you digit dial as well as voice dial. This is one of those things that I definitely do miss moving from the Treo to the Mogul. Also does anyone know if there is a setting in the Mogul that requires you to confirm a voice dial rather than going straight to dialing. Appreciate all your help.

Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 is pretty sweet (and does digit dialing), you should try that out.

Any ideas where I can find it and what the cost would be. That's one of the most annoying things going from a Treo to a Mogul.

too bad they don't have a try before you buy...the software is not cheap by ppc standards. is it a memory hog?

how does it compare with Fonix Voicedial?

How is bluetooth on these softwares?

I'm also interested in why the Mogul isn't shown as being compatible.

VC came standard on the Treo 700wx. From what I know (and unless it's changed since 2 months ago), voice dialing over bluetooth with VC did not work. I don't know if this was a Treo problem (I believe it was a problem with the stack). The software is really nice. I'd try it since I have a copy, but I don't have a working bluetooth headset.

Does anyone else besides me find it ironic that a $500/600 retail phone can't do speaker independent voice dialing out of the box? Even my 3 years old Moto 710 can do this.

Sounds like MS VC should have been built into the WM6 ROM... shame on MS.
