HTC Home for n00bs + Reg Edit for AudioManager

This is for n00b's that keep pming about my Today screen, so here is a quick how to....

Apps list

HTC HOME (6 button version) : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it

HTC HOME (3 button version) : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it

• With the 3 button version ur going to need HTC Audio Manager Today Plugin

HTC Black Theme :
To install this theme, just unzip the file and place the .tsk file in your windows directory.. Go to Start, Settings and then Today. The theme should appear on the list of themes

HTC Audio Manger : To install this just copy the cab file over and run it
(There is a way to have audio manger only search a specific folder for ur music, say /Storage Card/My Documents/Music, but thats a reg hack and can be saved for another day when i have time. Unless someone else knows how to do it and wants to write the how to..)

Reg Edit For Audio Manager To Search Specific Folder


Need a reg editor for this

HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\AudioManager\Config

device_scan_path_type_0
set to 0

device_scan_path_path_0
set to whatever location you want it to search for music "\Storage Card\Music"

device_scan_path_path
delete this 

Now do a soft reset

For anyone using a Telus P4000 with WM6.0 the registry is a bit different. To fix the AudioManager error you go to: HKLM/HTC/Music Plg-In and change the value from 2 to 1

after testing it out more, it makes the clok on the today skreen freeze at one time and the whole homeplug doesnt work anymore basikally, it doesnt show that ive recieved text messages or anything, besides that the audio manager works fine tho lol, any idea as to wat i should do or wat i am doin wrong?

HTC audio is just another music player but i like it because it takes a lot less ram than windows media and it just playin looks way better.
