Yeah, that will slow it down a bit. Click on the city and go to options and uncheck the "automatically update weather" checkbox.

undo the 'speed up' hacks!!

what they do is set the cache size for various things to be a static size, usually larger than what the system was allocating to it already.

64mb device + WM6 doesnt leave room for this. this was a WM5 thing. honestly i dont know why its posted for the mogul.

slide2unlock also has a memory leak.

I have found that mine was slow right out of the box. For some reason I think that the Mogul just runs slower. All I have added to it is ID Transfer, OS2 Plus, Tetris, Suduko, and I accidentally installed that OnDemand thing from Sprint.

OnDemand does some serious resource hogging.

As long as you have a program installed that will actually close apps when clicking the X button, it shouldn't really run that slow out of the box.

i setup a 530mhz WM5 iPAQ today, and it was slow compared to my mogul.
