Ppc 6800 H~e~l~p
Hello All . . . . I have been a lurker for about a year and now its time to say hellooo . . . . I had a 6700 and it died a horrible death (was just time for it to go) QUESTION: everytime I plug my 6800 into my computer(usb cable) it sends out a text message to someone in my phonebook (same happens when I disconnect) CAN ANYONE HELP?? Please let me know

SORRY COZ ... wont happen again ... it actually sends a "on my way" text every time I plug into or unplug from my computer. One of my buddies think its a bug ... what do you think and how do I get rid of this problem?? I hope someone can help

Do a hard reset of the phone.

 QUESTION: have you seen this problem before? what did it come from? ... I sure am glad I dont have that problem I see others having with the "activesync bug" . . . . . . just wanted to know "why" before I started backing up, restoring, possibly losing info

Never seen or heard of the problem. Just was making that suggestion. Hard resets fix most software or registry problem. Which is what I suspect this is.

Isnt "on the way" one of those quick texts? Why not just try deleting them all first and see what yuo get. It cannot send what isnt there. Also, what happens if you temp delete that particualr contact that it likes to always send to?
