Question Backup Contacts?

I am looking into getting a Touch Pro, currently have the Titan. I want to back up my contacts in a format which I can restore onto the Touch Pro, but also have a printable copy in some form...

What software would you suggest to do this?

Thanks!~

Re: Backup Contacts?

Well - PIM backup (which is free) backs up contacts, texts, and email, and will restore from Mogul to TP. I know - I have done it. If you want a printable list of contacts, sync with Outlook.

Re: Backup Contacts?

i say active sync... if you search around, although PIM is good for alot of folks, youll find alot of people couldnt get it to work right and lost everything...

if u use active sync and something goes wrong, ateast its all in your comp somewhere

Re: Backup Contacts?

Thanks; Wasn't sure if it worked with both of the phones. I suppose it makes sense, both being WM.

Any way to get them into a different outlook profile so they don't clash with my current outlook contacts?

Re: Backup Contacts?

SPB backup I don't think will work when switching between different model phones since it backs up registry settings also.

Re: Backup Contacts?

SPB Backup will work between both the Mogul and the Touch Pro... I did it just a couple of weeks ago. Just use it to backup your contacts, and not everything.

Re: Backup Contacts?

Both Google and Microsoft MyPhone have both worked good for me. Both are free. You have to search on how to sync Google Mail with Active Sync but it works good and lets you merge all of your contacts and email addresses into one contact which is a nice feature.
